Staff Biography

Mr. Jesse Albert is the Assistant Director of Bands of Huntington ISD where he serves as the Head Middle School Director and Intermediate School Music Teacher. Born and raised in Thibodaux, Louisiana, he currently serves as a Visual Technician for Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps, an Open Class finalist of Drum Corps International from 2017-2019 based out of Mobile, Alabama, and holds a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Instrumental Music Education K-12 from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.

While pursuing his degree, he has performed as a trumpet player for the UL Wind Ensemble, UL Jazz Ensemble, UL Orchestra, and UL Pride of Acadiana Marching Band. He has also served as a visual and music instructor for multiple high schools across South Louisiana for the past four years as well as provided private trumpet and French horn lessons from beginners to high school seniors. Jesse often serves as a lead trumpet player for the Livingston Area Concert Band and the Livingston Swing Band. Jesse has had the pleasure of spending three years marching World Class Drum Corps with the 2014 and 2015 Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps from Casper, Wyoming, and the 2016 Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps from Denver, Colorado, a Drum Corps International World Championships finalist.
